Mic not working? Check these
- Browser permission — click the lock or mic icon in the address bar and allow the microphone.
- System permission — on macOS: System Settings › Privacy & Security › Microphone; on Windows: Settings › Privacy › Microphone.
- Right device — if you have several, pick the correct one in the list.
- Muted hardware — many headsets have a mute switch on the cable or ear cup.
- Another app — Zoom, Teams or Discord can hold the mic; close them and retry.
